Overview

This workshop will have a combination of hands-on exercises and demonstrations. You’ll get hands-on experience building ArcGIS Dashboards and learn the finer capabilities of building gorgeous maps in ArcGIS Online. We’ll work with some of the recent cartographic tools for building eye-catching maps and discuss some of the data management and analytical capabilities in ArcGIS Online, such as feature layer views and appending and managing data. Lastly, we’ll review the most recent options for build web applications to meet the needs of your organization. Come join us for a fun and practical workshop!

About the speaker

Joe Peters is a Solution Engineer Team Lead with Esri supporting state and local governments in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. He has been with Esri since 2015, supporting users of ArcGIS in their mission of leveraging enterprise-level Geographic Information Systems to solve the many challenges facing our communities.

Additional information

I will be joined by Kendell Ryan, Esri Solution Engineer (GISP), and Tim Triplett, Esri Account Manager. We will need a screen projector and the ability to plug in a laptop via HDMI. We will be using ArcGIS Online for hands-on exercises. We will provide named user logins, but attendees will need to bring their own laptops.
