Overview
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Geospatial Program (NGP) implemented the 3D National Hydrography Program (3DHP) which marks the start of a new era of national water data. This is the first systematic remapping of the Nation’s hydrography since the original USGS 1:24,000-scale topographic mapping program was active between 1947 and 1992. The 3DHP will significantly improve the level of detail, currency, and content of hydrography data. This workshop will provide an overview of the 3DHP model and the new Data Collaboration Announcement (DCA) for data acquisition partnerships.
