Session Abstract:

The National Geospatial Program (NGP) provides a foundation of digital geospatial data representing the topography, natural landscape, and manmade environment of the United States. There are many components of the National Geospatial Program (NGP) such as the National Map and the 3D National Topography Model (3DNTM). 3DNTM is a new initiative that updates, improves, and integrates USGS elevation and hydrography data to support the most demanding scientific requirements and enable data-driven decisions across user communities. 3DNTM will support Federal, State, local, and other stakeholder needs. This presentation will discuss ongoing efforts to complete national baseline datasets and new development of the next generations for hydrography and elevation programs.
